A reshuffle

The cutdown lambro was becoming a bit of an eyesore in the back garden and with the winter drawing in it was getting a bit rusty so I decided it was time to get it into the garage.

As both lambros are still at the rolling chassis stage it was fairly easy to put the cutdown one and take the bare frame one out BUT the cab from the bare frame on is still in the garage so there is even less room in the garage than there was before. I could really do with more space as it will hold up the other scooters as I can't work on them. Bit of a downer really - do I need 2 lambros? Do I need one?

Now I have the bare frame out in the elements waiting for me to drop the forks out of it and take the rear axle off. Then I can get it welded to repair it then get it blasted and painted or powdercoated.

Whilst moving the cutdown one into the garage I decided to whip the head off to see what state the barrel was in.
The headcowl is interesting as it has an extra section which gives the option of blowing hot air from the barrel into the cab.
When I took the cowl off I was pleased to see that the engine has 200cc stud spacing which opens up a lot of opportunities for tuning work. Food for thought.
