The full tidy up begins!
Managed a few hours in the garage today, it was just too messy to try and do any scooter jobs so I decided to go full steam ahead with the plans to make space for some racking.
I have got a load of old green trays as seen in various supermarkets with vegetables in, I had a few spare so I filled those with parts. I have two big shelves with various loose items on (lights, speedos, gears, painted stuff etc). I boxed everything up and dismantled the shelves for now. I will keep one in the garage (near the door in a space currently occupied by a table with the cento on) and the other will either go in the shed or on the back wall of the garage behind the Lambro.
It made a lot of space with the shelves down. Next step is to box up everything loose on the bench so I can move that out in preparation for it going in the shed. I will then be able to paint the part of the floor that the racking will go on.
Just need to save up for the racking now (and stop buying stuff on ebay – just bought a disc brake hub, a knackered Imola kit and a couple of Yamaha reed blocks for various projects, all for a rainy day!).
