It continues.....
Managed to get a few hours in the garage today.
I cleared my workbench which involved boxing up everything that was on there (tools and parts).
I started OK but towards the end I was just piling stuff to one side to clear it and leave floor space.
I have now cleared the space for the racking and now just need to get the floor paint and the racking.
Then I can build the racking and slowly things on there (that are supposed to be there).
In theory what is left shouldn't be much and I can take it from there!
Whilst in the workshop I had a bit of a tinker (as you do) which meant stripping down the disc hub I got on ebay a few weeks ago. I also had a try at fitting a Yamaha reed block to the knackered Imola kit I got. This looks a bit tricky so I think I might have to ask a grown up!
I was thinking about selling one of my scooters to raise some money for the paint and racking but I couldn’t really think of one I would let go. Plus the fact they are all basket cases has a bit of a negative effect on the price I would get. I think I will just leave it for a bit and save up. There is no major hurry. I am unlikely to suddenly get a lot of spare time any time soon so it’s not as if I will be frustrated.
