Progress

Finally got the garage something like sorted today. I ended up looking at everything that took up the space and looking at how I could make more space.
This meant that the lambro cab ended up on the pick-up bed of the cutdown Lambro. The cutdown lambro was then pushed in one corner as far as it would go which freed up a lot of space.

As usual I got sidetracked and ended up doing some work on the spanish cutdown. I have cut the frame loop off just below the rear light unit and cut a bit off the rear mudguard. This will give it quite a nice look from the back. I've got some vega legshields on the way (ebay deal) so I will see how they fit as they might not fit in with the overall plan.

Other than that I've got a bit of tidying up to do then the garage will be at a point where I can just walk in and do a job rather than having to move stuff around first.

One less than before

Finally got round to selling the Gilera runner today. When I realised last week (in between rain, sleet and snow) that spring was here I thought it would be a good time to sell it.
So I stuck it up on ebay and got what I wanted for it.

Slightly mixed feelings about selling it really - I used to love riding it but I hardly rode it. I know that I would struggle to find another in such good condition with a known history, especially as they don't do the 2 strokes anymore. Oh well, never mind.

Some new bits

Got some nice parts today from Rimini Lambretta - www.riminilambrettacentre.com

Got a series 2 inner legshield spare wheel carrier, a series 2 rear flat carrier and a rear carrier for the model C, all powder coated. Very quick service and good stuff - well recommended!
