Two posts in one day????!!!
Managed to get out for the afternoon so decided to do some more sorting. I had put my work bench out in the garden so I could get in and out of the garage a few weeks ago.
I decided to concentrate on sorting out the shed as it is smaller than the garage and has a lot less stuff.
It’s a brick (and stone) built shed and is about 9 feet by 6 feet.
The plan is that it will be a “dirty” workshop – with the sandblast cabinet, parts washer and the bench for doing dirty jobs like stripping engines, porting etc. It is quite cosy with the door shut.
It was chock full of all the stuff that had come out of the garage. I put all that out into the garden while I was working. I took the old workbench out (very long and narrow and useless storage underneath) and put mine in (with vice on top, engine stand and a good amount of storage underneath).
I put a lot of stuff away in there for now. Over time some will go into the garage but a lot will stay in there as there is room in the corner for a load of plastic trays full of parts. Also in the rafters of the shed are four frames and a lot of bodywork. The blasting cabinet is full of tinware too.
I managed to get everything back in there for now without leaving it in a mess!
