Aren't cutting discs great?
Got a load of cutting and sanding discs for the angle grinder on ebay.
Managed to do a job I've been meaning to do for ages.

Yes, that was a solid, fairly straight set of Italian Series 2 legshields. Cut down for a project.
Can you tell what it is yet?

My new assistant

I took the day off on Thursday and got into the garage. I'd done a bit of tidying the weekend before and was a bit lost for inspiration so I thought I'd see if I could get the Kelvinator Avanti running. The kickstart pedal doesn't do anything and on closer inspection it looks like the splines are stripped on the pedal so it's not gripping on the kickstart shaft.
I pushed it outside to work on it and was joined by my son William who is now 20 months old.
He saw what I was doing, went into the garage, got a flat bladed screwdriver like the one I was using and pushed me out of the way and got on with trying to remove the kickstart pedal.
He was doing OK as a little helper but he likes hitting things with spanners. He got carted off when he picked up the garage lock and dropped it on his foot. He also got filthy!
